SECURITY
What measures does ELAN take to protect the security of this site?
What is EJ Delivery?
EJ Delivery is a tool that streamlines the process of capturing ATM electronic journal files at the ATM and delivering them to your financial institution. We use the Internet as the delivery mechanism, eliminating floppy disks forever.

ACCESS AND AVAILABILITY

How does EJ Delivery work?
A software agent is installed at the ATM and your terminal balancing process is modified so that upon balancing, the electronic journal file is saved to a directory on the ATM hard drive. Nightly, jobs run that retrieve the electronic journal files and place them on the EJ Delivery Web site. You can launch the Web site at your convenience to download the EJ files for long-term storage on your system.

How long will files be available on the site?
Files will be available on the Web site for 90 days. It is your responsibility to download the files to your system for long-term storage within 90 days.

What are cookies? Does EJ Delivery use cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your computer by a Web site. EJ Delivery does use a technology called "cookies" to provide you with tailored information from the Web site. A cookie is an element of data that a Web site can send to your browser, which may then be stored on your system. A cookie does not retrieve any data from your hard drive, carry computer viruses, or capture your e-mail address. EJ Delivery uses cookies for user authentication purposes and page navigation.

What browser do I need to access EJ Delivery?
Internet Explorer version 5.5 or higher. Use of alternative browsers may produce unpredictable results. Internet Explorer supports the latest encryption technology. Encryption scrambles your data into a form that only your browser and the Web server can understand. Newer browsers are also capable of supporting technology which makes the application easier to use, such as Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and JavaScript.

Do I need to make any changes to my personal computer?
EJ Delivery requires you use a proper browser version. The preferred browser version is Microsoft© Internet Explorer version 5.5 or higher. Otherwise just enter the EJ Delivery web address, type your user name and password (issued to you when you sign up for the product), and enter the system.

You will need WinZip to access the files once they have been downloaded to your PC or system. To obtain WinZip, visit www.winzip.com.

What ATM can support EJ Delivery?
EJ delivery can be enabled on any NCR Windows or Diebold Windows or OS/2 terminal running in native TCP/IP protocol. The terminal must have at least a Pentium processor and 128MB RAM and 30MB free disk space.

How do I download a file?
Download instructions are provided on the relevant page.

Can I view a file only?
No. Since the EJ Delivery site is not intended for long-term storage of electronic journal files, you will have to download the file to your PC or system before you can unzip it and open it to view. This will help prevent you from failing to download a viewed file for long-term storage.

How do I log off?
Click the "Logout" button found on each EJ Delivery screen. EJ Delivery will confirm your log off by presenting a "Session Ended" message.
